Devourment Exclusive Song Stream: “The Pick-Axe Murders”

Conceived in Sewage

Oh boy, do we have something special for you ingrates today, and it comes by way of Relapse Records and Texas death metal dudes Devourment.

Devourment have an amazing new album in stores right now called Conceived in Sewage.

Today, we’re bringing you an exclusive stream of the Erik Rutan-helmed album’s bonus track, which is a cover of Cannibal Corpse’s immortal track “The Pick-Axe Murders.”

If this cover fails to convince you that you need a copy of Devourment’s new album, I pity you.

Clearly, your brain’s been scrambled because your primary auditory cortex is not serving you well.

Maybe, just maybe, the cover doesn’t do it for you.

In that case, head here to listen to the rest of Devourment’s new disc. Perhaps their original material will win you over. I think they’re rad, but then again, I’m awesome.

And if you get the chance to see Devourment live, do it. I have been told by reliable sources that these dudes fuck shit up when they take the stage.
