Mad Max Exclusive Album Stream: Another Night Of Passion

Another Night of Passion

Have you ever agreed to something without getting all the specifics, only to get the specifics and then realize the world doesn’t like you? That happened to me recently, but I won’t go into specifics; I just needed to vent for a split-second. Anyways — let’s get to Mad Max, shall we?

So, some of you may be wondering to yourselves who Mad Max are. They’re a German metal band who have a new album in stores today on SPV/Steamhammer.

That album — called Another Night of Passion — is streaming in its entirety at the end of this post, and for those of you who love and miss that 1980s/early 1990s sound, holy hell are you in for a treat.

The new album comes 25 years after the release of the band’s Night Of Passion album, and sees Mad Max returning with its original lineup — Michael Voss (lead vocals, lead guitars), Jürgen Breforth (rhythm guitars), Roland Bergmann (bass, vocals) and Axel Kruse (drums).

The CD was recorded at the Kidroom Studio, which is owned by Michael Voss and where albums from Michael Schenker, Vengeance and Gary Barden were previously produced.

“The new record could have been a direct [follow-up] to ‘Night Of Passion’ in terms of its stylistic direction — no ballads, no keyboards, just purebred rock songs – naturally in a contemporary sonic guise,” explains Breforth.

So here it is, for your listening pleasure: Another Night of Passion. Tell us what you think of the disc either in the comments section below or over on our Facebook page.
