Neige Et Noirceur Exclusive Song Stream: “Hymne II – Neige Noire”

Hymnes de la Montagne Noire

Good morning, ladies and germs. It’s a wonderful day here at Gun Shy Assassin, mostly because we are thrilled to be bringing you some intense black metal mastery this morning. An injection of oppressive, atmospheric, and droning black metal as desolate as the snow-swept landscapes that inspired it.

Neige et Noirceur is a Quebec-based one-man outfit with a new album out tomorrow, called Hymnes de la Montagne Noire, that is just bleak and at times, hypnotic. But mind ye, Neige et Noirceur is not for the faint of heart.

After the jump, listen to the world premiere of “Hymne II – Neige Noire” from Hymnes de la Montagne Noire, which sees mastermind Spiritus return with what is, without a doubt, his darkest and most aggressive effort to date. That last line was actually from a press release, but I happen to agree, so…I borrowed it.

Let us know what you think of the track, either in the comments section below or on our Facebook page. I have been listening to this track for days now, and fans of Neige et Noirceur — which translates to “Snow and Blackness” — will no doubt notice there’s actually glimpses of melody on this cut.

Seriously, I defy you to tell me this isn’t awesome. Go on…I DEFY YOU!
