Readers’ Bands: Scaphism Are Fucking Sick

Scaphism

“Ear-raping death thrash” is how Boston’s Scaphism characterizes it’s sound.

I’d say that’s basically pretty fucking accurate.

We received an email some time ago from Alex, the band’s capable drummer, telling us he respects the site and wouldn’t mind some coverage for his crew.

“We are a four-piece groovy death/thrash outfit, and just released our debut full-length titled Festering Human Remains,” he writes us.

“Hopefully, you dig the tunes! Let us know what you think, or trash us online! Either works,” says Alex.

Well Alex, the good news is you dudes are pretty fucking tight, and I am amazed you have yet to find a label to sign you.

If I had a label, I’d throw a deal your way. I’d put your shit out. I’d rock your shirt.

Listen below to this track, and tell me you don’t want to hear more, which you can do here.
