Stinking Lizaveta Exclusive Song Stream: “Burning Sea Turtles”

7th Direction

Welcome to Thursday, sunshine!

Damn, do we have something special for you today, kids. An exclusive song stream from instrumental progressive rock masters Stinking Lizaveta, who hail from Philadelphia.

At the end of this post, we’re streaming a song from the band’s new album. Called “Burning Sea Turtles,” the tune comes from Stinking Lizaveta’s seventh studio album entitled 7th Direction.

The record boasts 13 tracks of uncompromising mind blow recorded by Sanford Parker of Nachtmystium.

Stinking Lizaveta, who have shared stages with the likes of Clutch and Corrosion of Conformity, must be an amazing band live. I feel like instrumental bands put on better shows, because they don’t have a singer to hide behind if they ever fuck up.

This song is trippy, and I feel like if I strapped a vaporizer to my face, I’d be able to see air. Yes, air.

7th Direction will be in stores October 23.

They ARE amazing live. You have no idea. They’re also awesome human beings.

Great song by an amazing band (and even more amazing live act). Glad Philadelphia can boast these guys.
