Spirits Of The Dead Exclusive Song Stream: “Oceanus”

Spirits of the Dead

Are you guys in the mood for some progressive stoner rock?

I knew you would be.

At the end of this post, we’re streaming a track off the new Spirits of the Dead album, Rumours of a Presence.

The band, from Norway, have been around since before the release of their 2008 debut.

Rumours of a Presence is said to be a profound record, and centers around death and the sea, a press release says.

I don’t know about all of that, but I can tell you the following song put me in a righteous mood this afternoon.

Really, if you dig prog rock at all, you’re gonna love this. It’s mellow, not metal. And if you can’t appreciate it, I think it is time you embraced hip-hop fully.

Rumours of a Presence will hit stores tomorrow, kids.
