Decrepit Birth have been forced to drop off the “Carnival Of Death,” after some dick-breathed douche broke into their rental van.
The thief made off with all of their personal bags, containing cash, laptops, cell phones, passports, and their IDs.
“This was a major blow to go along with our van catching on fire in Canada and having to leave it there to be junked,” the band writes online.
“At this point we will have to regretfully drop from the last few days of tour. The costs are overwhelming at this point, and to continue on would dig an even deeper hole of debt for the band, which we can’t afford,” they bemoan.
I get it. That blows, and no one could blame them for cutting their losses. As for the offender, I wish we could cut his fucking abyss down the middle.
Abyss is another term for the taint.
“Thanks to all the fans for coming out and making this such a great tour aside from the bullshit. We gave it our all every night for you, our fans. We’re down but not out…”
A statement issued by the band’s label asked that “anyone in San Francisco, CA has any information that can help lead to the arrest of the thieves who broke into Decrepit Birth‘s van and stole all their things, please contact your local police station with any tips!
