All Stars Tour Confirmed; Good Show For Harassing Chicks?

Posted by Chris Harris on May 6, 2011 in News

Nice drawing or whatever that is

My friend Clinton loves tours like The All Stars Tour, which will kick-off July 22, run for a month, and feature bands like Emmure, In This Moment, iwrestledabearonce, and Born of Osiris.

He argues that when you don’t give a fuck about any of the bands on the bill, you can go and just hit on women all day as you drink yourself into a sunburnt stupor.

Me? I hate going to shows as it is, because I hate running into the same industry assholes (no offense) all the time and making lame small-talk. “So…what are you listening to?” But the worst is going to a show with the intention of just harassing broads all day with witty pick up lines like, “So, what’s your stance on Roe vs. Wade?” or “I’d let you be my girlfriend.”

So, chances are, with no band I would deem outstanding on the bill (no offense to anyone…my taste is very specific), I won’t be making it out for The All Stars game. But you should go.

Who else is on the bill? Alesana, For Today, Blessthefall, The Ghost Inside, After the Burial, Motionless in White, Chelsea Grin, Sleeping With Sirens, Attilla, For All Those Sleeping and — on select dates — Memphis May Fire.

Tour dates will be coming very soon. Hold tight.
