As I Lay Dying To Tour With All That Remains

As I Lay Dying

Yep. It’s like the metalcore gods united to bring us what is going to be one kick-ass run of North American shows. And hark — the metalcore gods shine on us yet again, as Unearth and Carnifex have been tapped as the tour’s openers.

Dude, these shows are going to have ridiculous pits — ridiculously stupid, ignorant pits. Man, more power to you dudes who can still hang. I stopped going into the pit after I turned 28. A kid elbowed me — unintentionally — right in the temple and I had a headache for a fucking week. Never again. But guys, go nuts. Just keep in mind that the people standing on the outside of you “pit” don’t want your topless, sweaty ass all up in their shit, dig? So don’t be that douche du jour by going all apeshit on the people on the pit’s outer rim. No one likes that guy.

Starting in September, As I Lay Dying and All That Remains — on the same bill. Dude, I already want to punch someone and say tough things to guys bigger than me. Of course, one of the first Gun Shy Interviews was with AILD frontman Tim Lambesis, and we love Phil Labonte from All That Remains. He gave us the scoop on the band’s new disc, For We Are Many, recently, so we love Phil. But we love his girlfriend Grace more, especially after Phil’s recent Facebook revelation: “Two nights ago she rubbed them, tonight she smashed them. Oh the dangers of an active monogamous sex life.”

And by them he means his nads. He is a lucky, lucky man.
