Axl Rose Acts Like A Drama Queen

Not sure how reliable anything from English rag The Daily Star could be, but the daily’s claiming Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose fired his entire road crew when they didn’t wake him up for his Reading and Leeds Festivals sets.

Again, The Daily Star is as reliable as a Taiwanese hooker, and even more reliable than the American magazine Star, so I am not sure what to make of it. According to the report, Rose fired his crew even though he gave strict orders that no one bug him backstage.



Guns went on late for both gigs, and the power was cut on them both nights when they ran over the city-determined curfew.

An unnamed source — which means they made it up — told The Daily Star: “Axl has a very firm rule that he is not to be woken up whenever he is asleep. That proved costly at Reading. Axl was furious. He refused to take responsibility and blamed his team so he sacked them. Then he realized it was too late to fly in anyone else from America so he had to rehire them for Leeds.”



Sounds like bullshit. Any insiders care to confirm?
