Behemoth, Watain To Fuck America Up

Behemoth

Polish extreme metallists Behemoth will be teaming up with Swedish Satanic metallers Watain for a North American tour that kicks off in November. Our pals at MetalSucks will be sponsoring the tour, which also features Withered and Black Anvil.

This is going to be one sick fucking tour. As you know, I love Watain, and this will be the band’s first North American trek since the release of frontrunner for album of 2010, Lawless Darkness. Behemoth will have their early EPs Conjuration and Slaves Shall Serve re-released this fall, and the band continues to get the word out about their latest record, Evangelion.

I need that poster...

“It is with a scornful leer towards our enemies and a proudly risen cup of blood towards our devoted followers that we now reveal our plans for America in the fall,” says Watain frontman Erik Danielsson. “We have also managed to sort out the past problems we have had when it comes to the compromised lineup for US tours, which feels extremely good. The songs of Lawless Darkness truly demand a full lineup as well as my total submission to the vocal duties, which is exactly what they will get now. Watain is coming, in all its horrible glory, and it won’t be pretty.”

I can not wait for this tour. Both bands are amazing live and Watain are just one of the best black metal bands around. Get your tickets early, kids, because this one’s destined to sell out all across the continent.
