Bret Michaels Confused By Mean Old Nikki Sixx

Bret Michaels is having a blonde moment. He doesn’t get why Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx keeps ragging on his band Poison — especially since both bands will be touring together this summer.

Bret, I know you don’t understand why Sixx continues to say “negative stuff” about Poison, but the truth is, Poison is a joke. Mötley Crüe is also a joke, just less of a joke. You’re an easy target, and Nikki is a simpleton who knows the public perception and thus, thinks his shit don’t stink. That’s why he keeps talking smack.

Bret tells The Birmingham News of Alabama that he and Nikki could have a “a great tour” if Nikki could just shut the fuck up already. That’s not a direct quote.

“I want to make it very clear. I’m not a grudge guy, ever,” says mild-mannered human petri-dish Bret. “They have said a lot of negative stuff about Poison. Vince [Neil] has toured with me and we’ve ridden motorcycles together. Nikki and Tommy [Lee] have said a lot of negative things about a lot of people, and I was one of them.”

Bret said that it doesn’t make sense. “I like some of their music. Fans want the [upcoming] tour. I think it could be a great tour for fans if we could just put our feelings aside. I think we can have a great time.”
