Chimaira Pull Video, Launch New Site

Chimaira

Remember that promo video Chimaira’s label launched that spelled the band’s name wrong? Well, that video has been removed from the internet, and replaced with the video that follows at the end of this post.

Busted! It only took 48 hours for them to notice. Man. By the way, Chimaira have launched a new Web site. Oh, and the band’s been revealing some news over there.

Chimaira’s new album The Age Of Hell will be offered free to each customer who purchases or subscribes to the U.K. edition of “Metal Hammer” magazine in time for their August issue. That’s kind of a weird move, no?

Also, it seems Chimaira will hit the road in support of The Age Of Hell in October for a North American headlining run with Impending Doom, Revocation and Rise To Remain.

Dates for that tour will be announced shortly, and a second leg is being planned for November and December.

I would buy the UK Metal Hammer for the new album! I LOVE this band!

Great band. Love em. But why didn’t they sort out their name stuff. I mean, it’s so important. Some underling is going to get his ‘you know what’ kicked for not checking. Duh! Bet they haven’t even bothered to register their band name with someone like http://www.bandnamr.com either. Boys, it’s free, so what have ya got to lose (maybe another underling or two).
