Clutch Releasing New Beer? Dude, That’s Old News

Posted by Chris Harris on August 26, 2011 in Huh?, News

Someone send me a sixer

We told you waaaaaaaaaaaay back in June that Clutch had a new beer named in their honor, and I’m glad to see everyone else has caught up now.

Yes, you may have read on all the other sites yesterday that Clutch beer is on the way.

But we’ve known for a long time — although, thanks to a press release that tipped everyone off to the brew, we do know more now about the beer.

New Belgium brewing company will brew, bottle and distribute the brand new Clutch beer, which is an ass-kicking 9-percent alcohol by volume. The dark sour ale joins New Belgium’s Lips Of Faith Series, adding to a beer family which already includes the highly popular Fat Tire Ale, which is now sold in over 32 of the 48 continental United States.

The beer is available in 22 oz. bottles and a limited amount of kegs.

Damn, I’m pissed. As I was writing this, I noticed my phone somehow automatically updated, and now, in order to use the Mobile Hotspot on my phone, I have to pay more. Mother fuck. That sucks.
