No, he didn’t get hooked up with killer smoke. He was pelted with stones. Not to death. But, yeah — that’s fucking crazy.

Where’s your God now, Mustaine?

A reader informed our friends at The Gauntlet that during last night’s Croatia Metalfest, “When Dave Mustaine came out with the rest of Megadeth, there was a group of possibly drunk and rowdy fans near the front.

“They kept throwing beer on stage towards Mustaine but security put a stop to it,” the reader claims. “Then all of the sudden a rock came from their general direction and hit Dave in the head.

“There was some talk about Megadeth being the reason W.A.S.P. didn’t perform earlier in the night.”

I wonder why Megadeth would be responsible for fucking W.A.S.P. not playing a festival? Why would Dave give a flying fuck? I guess he didn’t want Blackie Lawless one-upping him in the God-loving department during the fest? I have no idea.

I also wonder how Mustaine is doing. No one deserves to be pelted with rocks. Even if they are homophobic assholes who don’t know when to shut the fuck up.

    Megadeth should play later that night(around 22 pm) because they were ˝main˝ group. But Dave , or his manager insist that they play earlier at 20 pm. Problem was that he wanted for them to re shedule his perform in the afternoon of that day. Megadeth got their new termin but wasp didnt like that( and they were right imo) because of Mustaine arrogance. So Wasp cancelled  so as Dark Tranquillity because they had some stupid contract between themselfs. Thats it.
     And Mustain WASNT´t hit by rock though beer was throwing at them(possibly rock too)
    Thank god for Death Angel, they prove that they are better then all of thos so called ¨stars¨.

    Matej: Thats Bullshit, Megadeth would only take 5 Minutes of W.A.S.P if they would have played Full playing time.. so if there would have been a problem Megadeth and or WASP could just have played a little bit shorter and everbody could have been happy ;) but it seemed like there where actual technical problems for W.A.S.P… And according to Metalfest Officials Megadeth wanted a earlier playing slot because they had an problem at the border Control. (maybe they needed to be out by night or something?)
    By the way, there were rocks flying, though not many, first by WASP fans at the Band, then at the Metalfest guy by WASP fans. The when it was clear that Megadeth wouldn’t come out again Megadeth fans threw a few rocks at the W.A.S.P fans… (everbody throwing rocks is a moron in my Eyes, both sides)

    and if W.A.S.P really canceld because of  what you stated: Megadeth tried to change their playing time because they didn’t like it. W.A.S.P canceld because they didn’t like their playing time… who is the bigger pussy now?
