Roger Glover

This site claims that Deep Purple’s bassist Roger Glover spoke with them recently.

When he did, Roger said that Deep Purple has completed work on 14 songs for a new studio album.

The band’s working with producer Bob Ezrin, who the Deftones fucking hate.

The band’s planning to record 11 or 12 tracks for a final CD.

A tentative February 2013 release for the as-yet-untitled effort is expected.

Just in time for their possible Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
