Dimebash Details: All-Star Lineup Is All-Starry

Serj Tankian

Finally, details have been revealed for this year’s edition of the annual Dimebash, a tribute concert that goes down December 14 at The Key Club in West Hollywood, California.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up & Shout Cancer Fund.

SO…the big question: Who will be taking the stage for this year’s Dimebash: Some really amazing, iconic artists, some brilliant young upstarts, some washed up dudes, and some straight-up douches.

Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains are set to show, as is Serj Tankian, frontman for System of a Down, Anthrax’s Scott Ian, and Glenn Hughes.
Tim “Ripper” Owens has signed on, and In This Moment’s Chris Howorth returns for the ‘bash. Former Down and Pantera member Rex Brown will be there too, as will Slipknot’s Joey Jordison and Machine Head’s Phil Demmel — who does not take shit from nobody!

Duff McKagan will be there, as will Sebastian Bach and two members of Ratt. King’s X’s Doug Pinnick will be there too, folks. It’s going to be a grand old time.

And yeah, David Draiman of Disturbed is committed to the Dimebash as well. I smell vinegar.
