Dir En Grey

Oh well. Probably for the best.

Under recommendation of Dir En Grey frontman Kyo’s physician after extensive examination of his vocal cords, the Japanese rockers have regretfully canceled their participation in “The Still Reckless Tour” and solo shows scheduled between March and April 2012.

I feel bad for these guys. They are super nice dudes, and have been trying to break out to a wider American audience, but they just can’t catch any luck. Maybe they dropped off because it would hurt their career…?

“To our fans as well as the other bands and staff involved in the tour we extend our sincere apologies,” the band says in a statement.

“We ask for your understanding that this was an extremely difficult decision to make. Thank you all for your continued support, which is deeply appreciated.”

The Still Reckless Tour still features Asking Alexandria, Trivium, I See Stars and…oh, who gives a fuck?
