Download Fest Adds Lamb Of God, Soundgarden, Others

Lamb of God

Wow, this is awesome!

The Download Festival — which takes over the United Kingdom’s Donington Park each year in June — for 2012 is shaping up to be a monster.

In addition to previously announced headliners Black Sabbath and Metallica (who will be playing their Black Album in its entirety), the fest will also boast the mighty likes of Lamb of God, Soundgarden, Machine Head, Tenacious D and Anthrax.

Trivium, Ugly Kid Joe and DevilDriver will also be on the bill, which I’m less than enthusiastic about.

I’d love to go see Download. Anyone wanna let me crash in their “flat?” Anyone? Girls, preferably? Hot ones? I only fart when nervous…so just don’t make me nervous.

Download is set for June 8 through June 10.

Others set to take the stage include The Prodigy (lame), August Burns Red, and — as previously announced — The Devin Townsend Project.

If you have tickets for this, you are the object of my envy.
