Escape The Fate Bassist Goes To Rehab, Band Drops Off Tour

Oh, man. I guess life on the road really is as hard as they say. Or maybe you just need to ingest a lot of intoxicants when you’re on tour with a band as shitty as Bullet For My Valentine and you’re the bassist in a band as original as Las Vegas, Nevada’s Escape The Fate.Is it me, or do a lot of crappy bands come out of Vegas? Why is that? Anyways, so yeah — Escape The Fate’s Max Green has entered an undisclosed rehab for drug and alcohol addiction, forcing the band to pull off of its current tour with Bullet.
“Max needs his friends and family by his side, so we’re not gonna leave him,” says lead singer Craig Mabbitt in a statement. “Max is one of my best friends and has never done this band wrong in any way shape or form.”
Wow. Wonder what the kid was on. Heroine? Booze? Pussy? Cock? What is his poison? “It’s very honorable of him to admit he has a problem and wants to seek help for the longevity of his life and this band,” Craig’s statement adds. “I’m so sorry to the fans, but so proud of Max. He needs our love and support through this rough time in his life, so let’s give it to him. Our soldiers never let us down and we will be back to play Europe and the two London dates very soon. We love you guys.”
Soldiers? What the fuck? Do they call their fans soldiers? And to think, I was going to interview this band a week or so ago. Now I know why it didn’t come together.
