So, I’m sorry — maybe it’s because I don’t have chest hair, but I don’t get Firewind. Like, at all. Someone, please explain this band’s appeal because these dudes have just never put out anything I’ve enjoyed.

Regardless, Firewind have signed a new North American distribution deal with Dismanic Distribution/eOne Music.

The Greek group will issue their new album Few Against Many through the new deal on May 22. The effort will see a European release through Century Media.

“I’m very excited about this new partnership,” exclaimed Firewind’s Gus G.

“While we’ve been around for sometime, North American territory is relatively new ground for us. And since the music industry is changing drastically these days, we felt we should be more in control on our new release.

“We are fortunate to have a great team behind us for our North American release, including Thomas Ziegler of DisManic/E1 Music, and together with our management, I’m confident that we will reach the next level.”
