For Today Guitarist Denounces Homosexuality

Look, man. We may not agree with guitarist Mike Reynolds’ faith-fueled beliefs, but he is nonetheless entitled to his opinion.Likewise, I am entitled to my opinion that this dude is beyond ignorant. Off the charts ignorant. And, ultimately, at his very heart, an evil prick.
Now, onto his gay-bashing Twitter posts: “There IS a state church being formed, there is going to be an exclusive acceptance of preachers who advocate the LGBT. Don’t be deceived, homosexuality is a sin. This sin with all other sins is what Jesus died for. He conquered so that we would be free.”
By saying homosexuality is a sin, you are restricting — or rather, insulting — the freedoms of all people who prefer partners of the same sex.
“No such thing as a gay Christian, the same as there is no such thing as a Christian who loves his sin,” writes Mike. “Don’t be fooled by the formation of a state church as though the government is being converted, they only use the name of Jesus for their Progressive liberal agenda.”
A state church? Isn’t there supposed to be some imagined separation of church and state? People forget that shit.
“If you are a Christian then separate yourself from this civil religion that advocates sin,” says Mikey. “Be true to God.”
In other Twitter posts, Mike expressed his views on the shooting of innocent children. This guy’s definitely a candidate for Mensa.
“We blame Newtown on neglect and metal illness, but then put Django and Chainsaw Massacre 3D at number 1 & 2 in the box office?,” he writes. “School shootings and all other evil proceed from evil people. People are evil and need saving. Jesus alone deals with the depths of sin.”
Hey Mike? Less thinking, more playing awful music.
