Former CKY Member Launches Kickstarter Campaign

Deron Miller

Sometimes, the reality of my situation is almost too much to take. I toil, day in and day out, writing for this blog and for other publications. Yet, I have nothing and will have nothing to show for it.

Writers are never paid what they are worth, and chances are, when I’m too old to use my brain, I’ll be that old guy bagging groceries at the supermarket. I will be working forever, and sometimes, I wonder why I continue to run myself ragged.

Maybe I should launch a Kickstarter campaign. My project? To not be evicted.

Deron Miller of World Under Blood and formerly of CKY has launched this Kickstarter campaign to help fund the recording of his upcoming solo album.

A clip of an as-yet untitled demo from the project can be found on the Kickstarter page.

The sessions for the project will also be filmed for a bonus DVD, so long as enough of you kick in your two bits.

The album is one of three releases Miller plans to unleash next year.

Would you support a Kickstarter campaign to keep GSA alive?
