Former Smashing Pumpkins Bassist Spending Weekend In Jail

The original bassist for the Smashing Pumpkins will be spending this weekend in jail. Sucks, right?

The very ravishing and beautiful D’Arcy Wretzky — I mean just look at how good she’s looking in that mugshot — is currently being held in a Michigan jail, according to TMZ.

Wretzky’s detainment stems from a 2009 incident in which several horses from her farm escaped their enclosure and ran into town. That’s why I don’t own horses. That and I’m broke as fuck.

TMZ reports that Wretzky was ticketed for an “Animals Running At Large” offense at the time, but then allegedly didn’t pay the related fine and subsequently missed four consecutive court dates. Judges don’t like when you don’t show up, D’Arcy. Hence, a bench warrant for her arrest was issued.

D’Arcy was arrested Tuesday (February 8), with her release scheduled for Monday (February 14).
