Former Strata Frontman Selling Perverse Art

Posted by Chris Harris on October 13, 2011 in News, Pervoscope

Yup -- this is art

At least Strata’s former frontman is calling the shit he is selling art. I mean, I don’t know much about art. I know what I like and what I don’t like. Generally, I consider art to be paintings, sculptures, film, graffiti, and music. Not sketches of dude’s sucking their own wangs.

Seemingly cock-obsessed Eric Victorino, who used to be in Strata, must’ve fallen on hard times, because he’s selling sketches that really are just sketchy.

Go here to see them. If you’re at work, definitely don’t click that link. Unless you work at a strip club or adult bookstore.

The description of the picture I inserted into this post calls that drawing “She can handle these four aggressive dicks because she’s a fucking professional.” Only, he spells aggressive wrong.

“I’m inspired by the crass and fearless approaches of Keith Haring, Robert Crumb and Skinner — my work is informed by the post-modern statements of anti-purpose exhibited by Andy Warhol, Banksy and Daniel Johnston, I draw with the goal of a gut response from the passerby. Laughter, anger, disgust, disappointment or love, so long as it’s genuine.”

No — you’re just perverted, dude. Just be cool with it. Why make excuses? Shit. Be proud of your perverseness. But don’t call that art. That’s just you being pervy.
