Goatwhore and Graves Of Valor To Tour

Goatwhore and some dead chick

I haven’t a single ill word to speak of New Orleans blackened death metallers Goatwhore. These guys rule and are practitioners of pure metal. They are a band that both elitists and novices alike have embraced. The first time I heard the band’s sadistic thrash sound was back in 2003 when Funeral Dirge for the Rotting Sun found its way into my mailbox.

Of course, I had heard of Goatwhore before. I had just never gotten a chance to hear them, but knew with a name like Goatwhore, they’d fucking own. And sure enough, I was right. South Carolina’s Graves of Valor are an up-and-coming, very innovative death metal band who have a fucking sick ass drummer and shredded-to-meaty-threads vocals that would remind you of Kevin Sharp from Brutal Truth.

And wouldn’t you just know it…they’re touring together this August.

I would recommend you catch this run if it makes its way through your nape of the woods. Live, it doesn’t get much nastier than Goatwhore. Holy hell, do I love that name. It just rolls of the tongue. Goatwhore. These dudes are whores for the Goat! Amazing. So yeah, here are those dates. Go see Goatwhore. Goatwhore!
