Man, two cool album covers on the same day? It can’t be!

Oh, it is, kids — it is.

Yes, Impending Doom are Christian death metal, which is the ultimate oxymoron, but that album cover is pretty fucking grim. Yes, I am not a huge fan, but that album cover is dope.

Impending Doom’s fourth full-length album, Baptized In Filth, will be in stores on March 13 and was produced by Andreas Magnusson with the mix handled by Machine.

“Baptized In Filth represents the mindless indulgence and self-worship in the vile world we live in,” offers bassist David Sittig. “This album is meant to scare the hell out of you!”

We’re not easily scared or impressed. But that cover is fucking awesome. Let’s hope the album’s content is equally as rad.
