It’s Official: Disturbed Going On Indefinite Hiatus

You can see me, but I’m actually doing a little jig of happiness. I haven’t been this happy since Fabio was smacked in the face with that bird, shattering his rugged visage. Rejoice!Disturbed are going on hiatus. After this summer’s Mayhem tour, they’re done. Frontman David Draiman recently revealed on Twitter that the hiatus would be “an indefinite” one, which is usually code for, “I fucking don’t want to see you assholes for at least another five to eight years, when we need money to pay for college.
In addition to that great news, it seems that a video Disturbed shot not too long ago for the track “Warrior.” It has yet to surface. Why? Well, leave it to Disturbed’s Draiman to tell it like it is.
Draiman — in response to a fan’s comment on Twitter — said that the video “came out shitty, so, were not putting it out.” No shocker there.
Man, how quickly things can fall apart. This reminds me of that time System of a Down played Ozzfest and fucking went on “indefinite hiatus.” There’s been a tour, but no album coming anytime soon from those dudes. So chances are, we won’t have to hear new Disturbed for a good, long while. Eternity would be preferred, but I’ll take a good, long while, too.
