Jesse Leach Demoing Solo Tracks

Jesse Leach

Hell’s yes!

That’s awesome news. After Times of Grace and The Empire Shall Fall frontman Jesse Leach left Killswitch Engage, I always said that he should just go solo. I’m interested to hear what my man comes up with.

Apparently, fans of Jesse’s Alive or Just Breathing-era pipes surely will be bummed.

“Looks like I am beginning the demo process for my solo record this week,” he said on his official Facebook page. Go “Like” it, by the way, and tell Jesse how much you love his column.

“This will be a whole new realm of material and style. No aggressive music, no yelling or screaming just me being who I am on my own. Here goes nothing!”

I wonder whether it will be mostly acoustic stuff and some sort of Mr. Bungle-esque hybrid of noise. Either way, count me in. I hope he’ll sneak us some demos so we can get a sense for what it sounds like.
