Kataklysm Announce North American Tour
Posted by Chris Harris on November 16, 2010 in News, Tour Dates
I am definitely going to catch this tour. Last time I saw Kataklysm, that musical abortion of a band Trivium opened and Danzig headlined, so it’s been a spell. Hopefully, I’ll be able to get that Kataklysm tattoo before the gig, so I can go topless, and display that fucker and show it off like an ugly broad when she finally gets an engagement ring!Kataklysm will be coming South in February, for the North American leg of their “Spread the Venom 2010/2011 World Tour.” Joining them will be All Shall Perish, Decrepit Birth, Conducting From The Grave, and Abysmal Dawn. Those dates after the jump.
“In just about a month we will embark on Kataklysm’s longest one way headlining stretch crossing four continents in nearly 20 years,” says frontman Maurizio Iacono. “Heaven’s Venom has been welcomed with open arms by fans and critics alike across the globe. As I mentioned before in interviews, Heaven’s Venom is a very personal, aggressive and dark Kataklysm album that hits home.”
Then, he starts getting weird: “We love this album and want to share its anger with our fans! We want to play places we have never been before and also revisit our loyal supporters while creating some new fans along the way. One thing we know is that this will be the only time you will be able to see the band on this record or for a long time. So don’t say, ‘I’ll catch them the next time,’ because there might not be a next time. We are thinking of taking along break after this massive trek and who knows what will happen next.”
Wait, does this mean they’re breaking up?
