Kiss Earn $500,000 A Gig — No Shit

This, according to a report from The Smoking Gun. That’s $200,000 more a night than future felon and current tween heartthrob Justin Beiber. The site unearthed a list of the biggest earning summer tours, and Kiss occupy the #2 spot with half-a-million a night.

Those dorks in Rascal Flatts are #1 with more than $700,000 per gig. Can you fucking believe that shit? Almost a million dollars a night, to do what you love. That’s pretty sweet. Too bad those homos play country music. So Kiss is #2 with $500,000 a night. What other rockers made the list?

Get this: Buckcherry raked in $100,000 a gig. Buck fucking Cherry. At times like this, I feel out of touch with music. Buckcherry are huge, I guess. Rock radio luminaries. I guess I’m proud to be out of touch with radio rock. I am proud. Heart turned up at #17, with them earning $100,000 a night, too.

That Shinedown band earned $85,000 a night playing the rock. Wow. But wait, the most shocking totals come in at #26 and #33: Bret Michaels pulls in $64,000 and Warrant earn $12,000 a night. Shame on those of you who support Bret. I can’t believe he makes that much. And Warrant! Damn, I could hire those dudes to play my birthday next year. Shit.
