Kvelertak Get Their Own Beer

Posted by Chris Harris on November 30, 2011 in News, Rad

Looks yummy

This is kind of awesome!

Just like Clutch, Norwegian blackened punk metal outfit Kvelertak have brewed their own beer, which they’ve christened Kvelerbier.

The beer will be on sale exclusively at the band’s Vienna, Austria, concert at Szene on December 3. Fucking bummer. I live at least a 300 days walk from Vienna.

The beer is limited to — get this — 30 bottles only. There will also be a limited amount of fantastic tour posters and a special Vienna tour poster available, too, the band explains.

Just 30 bottles? Hmm. Wonder how long those will last?

A press release claims Kvelerbier is “made out of honey and hate on Halloween 2011. Alc. vol. 6,66%. Brewed by brewmeister Thomas Shellraiser.”

And of course, Kvelertak are awesome, and if you haven’t checked out their self-titled debut yet (which was produced by Converge’s Kurt Ballou), then you need to add one more thing to your to-do list.

Seriously. You need to hear this thing. It’s fucking insanity Jones.
