Lamb Of God Tune Used In “True Blood” Teaser

Well, isn’t this kinda fucking awesome?

Lamb Of God‘s song “King Me” is featured in a new teaser trailer for the upcoming fifth season of HBO’s “True Blood” series. That season is set to air this summer.

That teaser follows at the end of this post. Use of the song — taken from Resolution — has Randy Blythe freaking out.

“…I am in VAMPIRE GEEK HEAVEN right now. STOKED,” Blythe wrote online.

After fans called him out for digging the show (which admittedly hasn’t been as good in recent seasons), Blythe went on the offensive.

“I DON’T GIVE A FUCK what you or ANYONE ELSE says about True Blood — I FUCKING LOVE IT, MY MUSIC IS ON THE PROMO, & I am CELEBRATING the sheer AWESOMENESS of the fact that I now have a connect & I am reveling in that AND ALL ITS FAGGY VAMPIRE GLORY!!!,” Blythe writes.

“SO STOKED!!! & now I will drive to Kroger to pick up some pasta sauce, BLASTING ‘King Me,’ & looking for goths to high-five! TRUE BLOOD, FTW!!!”
