Let’s Just Forget About The New Tool Album Already

Not for a fucking while, anyways.
Maynard James Keenan recently told a Chilean radio station earlier this month that the band would not release a new album in 2013; days later, drummer Danny Carey told a New Zealand station that a new CD would arrive “sometime this year.”
Clearly, someone’s fibbing.
Keenan has now told Spin.com that while he has been “jamming” with both Tool and A Perfect Circle, he says neither band is close to having an album ready for release.
“Basically, right now it’s a lot of ideas,” Maynard says. “Jamming. There’s no actual songs for either project. It’s still kind of noodles in a big basket…Lots of noodles, just no dishes.”
What a strange fucking analogy!
