Leviathan’s Wrest Accused Of Domestic Battery

Wrest

I really hope this isn’t true, because I happen to really, really dig Leviathan and Lurker of Chalice. But the Chicago Tribune is a rather reputable news outlet, and they’re sort of known for their criminal coverage. So, it probably is true.

Wrest — also known as renowned tattoo artist Jef Whitehead — has been charged with criminal sexual assault and aggravated domestic battery Sunday and was being held on $350,000 bond after allegedly attacking his girlfriend in Chicago, Illinois, the Tribune reports.

The paper claims Wrest used “tools of his [tattoo] trade” to sexually assault “his girlfriend after he slammed her head against a floor and choked her.” Prosecutors say the incident followed an argument between the couple early Saturday morning. The girlfriend was transported to a local hospital for treatment and her condition is not known.

“I’ve never known him to be violent to anyone — male or female,” says Freddy Corbin — owner of Temple Tattoo in Oakland, California, where Whitehead has worked for three years — of Wrest, whom he has known for more than 20 years.

For the last three or four months, Whitehead has been traveling throughout the United States and parts of Europe on a tattooing tour, Corbin told the Trib.

none of this is true all of this is alleged and he is not that kind of person. This girl has accused of few other ppl of situations like this. its a very sad thing and i hope for the best for him. reporters fabricate situations like this and make it seem so much worse. and everyone fell for it and totally looked past that this is all alleged. dont believe the newspapers or the media ever! they take a bad situation and make it out to be so much worse. there’s 2 sides to every story remember that. he loved her and still loves her and would never do anything to hurt her.

And if he is proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt you will look like a) a stupid fanboy; b) a dirtbag apologist for a sex offender, and; c) a misogynist with a brain as small as a thumbtack. Take a bow.
