LOG’s Randy Blythe Mentally Preparing For Impending Trial
Posted by Chris Harris on January 13, 2013 in News
A big part of me feels awful for Randy Blythe. The Lamb of God singer will be heading back to Europe next month to stand trial on charges related to a fan’s accidental death some two-plus years ago. That’s how I see it, at least. Authorities in Prague (that’s in the Czech Republic) have charged Blythe with manslaughter, and if you don’t know the story behind the charges, go here. You have a lot of catching up to do.
Randy’s trial begins in little less than four weeks, on February 4.
“The last 2 or 3 days I have been getting ready mentally to leave my home & return to Prague to do this whole trial thing in early February,” says Randy online.
“It’s not something I particularly WANT to do; but inside, my gut & heart tells me it is the RIGHT thing to do. I cannot turn my back [o]n the right thing…”
I have been assured by numerous readers that Randy has nothing to worry about when it comes to Prague’s legal system…that it is just, not corrupt, and that this is not just some shakedown for cash.
Only time will tell. I predict a positive outcome for Randy, but that’s mostly wishful thinking.
Hang tough, Randy. We’re here and we support you.
