Oh shit!

This has been the weirdest fucking week, no? I mean, nothing will top the week when Randy Blythe was arrested, but this one was nutty.

Now comes word the band have parted ways with founding bassist and vocalist Adam Duce.

“Machine Head and bassist Adam Duce have parted ways,” the band says.

Well, that was unexpected. This comes just as the band’s been working on their next LP.

I wonder what was behind it.

“The split is amicable, and Machine Head would like to wish Adam the best with his current and future endeavors. The band will continue on for the time being as a three-piece and have begun the writing process for their follow-up to 2011′s Unto The Locust. A late 2013 release is projected.”

Shit, dude. I wonder if this parting was also fueled by money or a lack thereof.
