Good fuck, do I love The Mars Volta!

I may even say I liked the Volta more than precursor band At the Drive-In.

Just my opinion. But hey, check this — Cedric Bixler-Zavala, the band’s singer, is working on a solo album.

He has apparently tapped all of his pals for guest spots on the outing, which, I can say with certainty, I am fucking excited to take for a spin.

ThePRP claims the album will feature Gregory Rogove of Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Johnny Polonsky of Puscifer, David Hidalgo of Los Lobos and Juan Alderete of The Mars Volta.

Money Mark will also be on the disc.

Sign me the fuck up, folks.
