Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Says Media’s Been Unfair To Him

Boo-hoo, Dave. Go tell it to Reader’s Digest!

Yes, folks — Megadeth’s exalted leader Dave Mustaine says the media’s warped the public’s perception of him and his band.

Dave spoke this nonsense to Noisecreep.

“One of the problems about Megadeth is that we’ve been severely misinterpreted by the press,” says Mustaine. “I’ll say something in an interview, and they’ll either take what I said completely out of context or they evaluate it based on one sole statement and not the whole idea.”

No, dude. You just don’t know how to properly phrase crap. You say dumb stuff.

“I’ve made political statements my whole career. I find it so un-American that we all hate people in this country now just based on who they say they are voting for,” he says.

I don’t hate you for who you vote for. I do think you’re a douche for hating gay people.

“Whatever political party you are — hey, more power to you. I’m an independent. I saw that actress, Stacy Dash, getting killed in the public just because she said she was going to vote for Mitt Romney. I thought to myself, ‘Damn! This is not who were are as Americans. We’re better than that.’ It was disappointing.”
