And from the sounds of the trailer at the end of this post, it’s going to be mellow but awesome.

Fuck, who am I kidding? Other than that one album where he just makes weird noises with his voice for an hour, I have loved everything Mike Patton’s ever done.

I will love this too.

The Faith No More, Lovage, Tomahawk, and Mr. Bungle frontman wrote the original score for the film “The Place Beyond The Pines.”

The trailer seems to indicate the film’s a knock-off of every other good-guy-goes-bad-and-robs-a-bank-for-his-kith flick, only with a dirt bike.

The score will be released April 9 through Milan Records.

The film is scheduled to open in the U.S. March 29 and stars Bradley Cooper, Eva Mendes (pictured), and Ryan Gosling.
