Morbid Angel Cancel Canadian Dates

Morbid Angel

I’m actually sick of writing about bands being denied entry into Canada. It seems to happen all too often, especially with metal bands.

Morbid Angel have been turned away at the border, meaning they have cancelled their show tonight in Montreal, and tomorrow’s scheduled show in Toronto.

“Regretfully, as much as we wanted to continue the musical onslaught, the Canadian immigration officers at the border had other intentions. Canada is NOT HAPPENING,” says frontman David Vincent.

I wasn’t able to catch the Morbid Angel tour in New York the other night, but heard good things.

Mostly, I heard they barely played anything from the new album.

The band said nothing about why they were denied access to Canada. I wonder what the reason was.
