Mutiny Within Going On Indefinite Hiatus

Mutiny Within's one fan

Over the summer, we learned that both frontman Chris Clancy and keyboardist Drew Stavola had parted ways with Mutiny Within, and that the band had split from its label, Roadrunner.

The band made strides to find a new singer, but ultimately, Mutiny Within have decided to take a vacation from the band. Maybe even a permanent vacation.

“It saddens us to announce today that we are taking an indefinite hiatus,” the band announced on Facebook. “We’ve been searching the globe for a replacement vocalist for most of the year, and we’ve come to a point where we simply can’t afford to pass up other opportunities any longer. We want our fans to know that we tried to avoid this any way we could. To reach you all around the world with our music has truly been a dream come true, know that we would continue this journey right now in a heartbeat if we could.

“We will be updating the MW pages and our personal pages as we start to announce new projects, touring work, etc.,” the band says. “Also, we are still on great terms with Chris and have discussed releasing some second album material in the future. Thank you for all of your support throughout the years. MW fans are still the best out there, we will be keeping in touch with you guys.”

Oh well. I’m hungry. Anyone wanna buy me lunch?

That’s right, go ahead and be a jerk to Mutiny Within. Chris left for a reason, though I don’t know about the keyboardist, unless he left for the same reason as well.
Mutiny Within wasn’t working as well as they had hoped it would. That’s one of the reasons why Chris left.
Have some respect for them. He didn’t leave because of “artistic differences” or something dumb. Don’t call yourself a fan, because if you were you wouldn’t be so selfish about it.
