Mysteriously, Taproot Continue To Make Music

Is that Cristina Scabbia?

Ann Arbor, Michigan’s Taproot are said to have recorded a new album called The Episodes.

Victory will release The Episodes, which was produced by Tim Palatan, on April 10.

Who in the fuck has given a rat’s ass about these dudes since that first fucking record they put out? Anyone?

I remember when they first emerged, people were saying they were going to be the next Linkin Park. Didn’t quite work out that way.

A press release says The Episodes took six months to complete and “is a complexly developed concept album.” OK.

“I think our fans have come to expect the unexpected from us,” bassist Phil Lipscomb says. “Having written the story for this album before the music, this record sounds more like a soundtrack than a typical album, with the songs flowing together and taking you on a journey.”

OK then. Moving on.
