No Way Ozzy Osbourne Came Up With This List!

Either that, or Ozzy was only sent 10 promos this year, and they all — with the exception of the Lamb of God box set — were real winners. Clearly, Ozzy is on the Grammy-nominating committee, and you’ve got to have your finger on the pulse of what’s new and exciting in metal when you’re Ozzy, right?

Yahoo! ran Ozzy’s Top 10 Metal Picks for 2010, and added a nice insult along with the list (you know, about how he mumbles) and they expect us believe this wasn’t compiled by someone on Ozzy’s staff. Or at his PR firm. Ozzy’s Top 10 is really on the cutting edge, and looks something like the forthcoming Worst of 2010, which we’d still love your input on. First off, Ozzy lists his album, Scream, as his record of the year. Humble, right? You can see the full list here, but let’s just say, it includes the Pantera Cowboys From Hell re-issue.

It also lists the new Black Label Society album, Firewind’s new disc, and recent tour mate Slash’s self-titled solo LP in the Top 10. How fucking predictable. Oh, and the Iron Man 2 soundtrack by AC/DC and the new Korn. He does mention Motorhead’s new one and the Halford disc. But, it’s like I told you…if this wasn’t something a publicist pulled together to get some national press for Ozzy, and he actually had some say in this list, Ozzy only got 10 promos this year. That’s fucked.
