Now Dream Theater’s Tunes Have Been Turned Into Lullabies

Not necessary

Yes, folks. I keep waiting for the press release announcing a Killswitch Engage lullaby album.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star — that company that takes the songs of our beloved metal gods and turns them into ominous lullabies because why the fuck not? — has released Lullaby Versions of Dream Theater.

“Listen as TTLRS faithfully honors their musical proficiency in a soothing lullaby style for shredders young and old alike,” says a press release.

The album will boast covers of “A Nightmare to Remember,” “Build Me Up, Break Me Down,” “Wither,” “Pull Me Under,” “As I Am,” “These Walls,” “On the Backs of Angels,” “The Dark Eternal Night,” “Metropolis Part 1 The Miracle and the Sleeper,” “Under a Glass Moon,” “Forsaken” and “Panic Attack.”

You can hear samples from the album here.

“In addition to soothing babies our fans use our music for yoga, massage and sleep therapy or just general relaxation,” the press release adds.

The company’s released similar tributes to Slayer, Rush, Iron Maiden, and others.
