Let’s just be clear: Phish are fucking awful.

I have been forced to listen to Phish in the past, and all I can figure is these fans are so fucked up on hallucinogenics, anything would sound good.

Phish could play “The Songs of Glee,” and these dopey hippies would gobble that shit up like me with a McRib.

The other night, Phish played a spate of shows at Madison Square Garden, as they do every year. And every year, these Phish dudes pull out some cover that makes all the hippies oh and ah.

“I can’t believe they’re playing a Christina Aguilera song…craaaaazy, dude.”

On New Year’s Eve, Phish covered Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man,” which you can hear at the end of this post.

I betcha half the idiots there didn’t recognize the song.

    was a legit question using software that I’ve never used. What does it

    This is really funny. Phish has one of the most critical fan bases out there.

    Also, they’re probably the most likely to be familiar with Iron Man (but, really, who isn’t?). For many fans Phish is where they go to ‘experience’ music, while they listen to a variety of different other music throughout the year.

    I’m not exactly a Phish fan, but I like a number of genres of music. Including metal, and some “hippie” bands. I can’t complain if some people get exposed to good music, however it happens.
