Rockstar Energy Mayhem 2012 Lineup Leaks

The one reason to go

A radio station in Boise, Idaho, has let the lineup slip for this year’s Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.

And yes, Slipknot look to be headlining the thing. The lineup will likely be revealed officially later today.

Along with Slipknot, the tour will boast Slayer, Anthrax, As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria (I’m speechless), Whitechapel, and High On Fire.

The station claims Motorhead are also on the bill, but that it won’t be announced until March.

So, yeah. I’m bored with that lineup. I hope that’s the main stage, and that the second stage bands are actually decent and worthy of my time.

I mean, how many times can one person see Slayer and Anthrax?
