Satyricon

Oh, hell fucking yes, dudes!

Norwegian black metal masters Satyricon will enter the studio in February to begin recording their new album for a tentative September release.

Some of the new material the band’s been working on will be debuted during Satyricon’s appearance at this year’s edition of the Inferno festival, set to take place March 27 through March 30 at the Rockefeller, John Dee, Rock In, Blå, Unholy, Victoria, and Revolver venues in Oslo, Norway.

I am a Satyricon fan. This, I can say with 100-percent certitude.

The band last album, 2008‘s The Age of Nero was OK, but 2006‘s Now, Diabolical is untouchable.

Let’s know listen to some of that album, shall we?

I was half hoping they’d have already started production, but I guess September is a good chance that even with delays the album will be released this year. Good news
