Shameless Promotion Post: We’ve Got A New Tee Shirt For Sale

Posted by Chris Harris on January 30, 2012 in Featured, News, Shamelessness

This is one of the two greatest tee shirts ever made by men

So, we were going to go with this really elaborate design for our second Gun Shy Assassin tee shirt, but we have thought better of it. Too much detail, and too fucking complicated.

We were going to mock Megadeth’s Rust In Peace cover; that was the idea. I was going to be one of the politicians seated in the background along with Zeena Koda, Brian Fair, Chris Adler, and Jesse Leach in the other chairs. Instead of the alien, we were going to have Dio at rest in the coffin, and instead of Vic Rattlehead, I wanted Kate Upton there, holding a glowing nugget of hairy bud.

Alas, that would take forever (I was going to have the very talent Lawton Mann paint it). And really, chances are Dave Mustaine would’ve slapped us with an injunction like a pimp disciplines his stable of hoes.

So, instead, we went with something simpler — the site logo.

Seriously, you can order the shirt right here.

Don’t worry, folks. If you don’t dig the logo (why wouldn’t you?), take heart in the fact that we are planning some sort of tee shirt that will be some sort of album cover parody. Probably something black metal. We shall see. Maybe Dawn of the Black Hearts.

By the way, folks — we’re selling these shirts mostly because we just want them to be available for people, should they want to represent and let people know they’re fucking cool as hell. Do we make a lot of money from the shirts? Well, considering we don’t pay for production costs upfront, what do you think?

The answer was “No,” for those who might be dull.
