Slash Cancels Gig

Slash with Fergie

OH NO!

I thought maybe the top-hatted one, Slash, cancelled his concert last night in Los Angeles so he could watch the presidential charade…I mean, debate.

I was wrong though.

I know the following won’t mean dick to anyone living outside the U.S., but in my opinion, these debates do nothing but reaffirm choices people have already made, have made in the past, and will continue to make every election — decisions based solely on party affiliation, not the content of a candidate’s principles.

Ultimately, without a third party voice, it’s always going to be the Democrat vs. the Republican, and sides are drawn long before those campaigns ever even kick off.

So, yeah — Slash cancelled a gig last night at the Wiltern because his singer, Myles Kennedy, fell ill.

The show’s been rescheduled for December 2.

Tickets for the postponed show will be honored on the rescheduled night and refunds will be available at point of purchase for those ticket holders who can not attend the re-scheduled show.

Slash regrets this inconvenience.

“We want to be 100% for this gig and we’re just not at this moment,” says Slash. “We’ll be back December 2nd in fighting form. See you then!”
